Food is always made fresh! The fish is amazing although they could be a little bigger but the flavor makes you forget about the size. The fried chicken is great too well seasoned! I tried the kool-aid and it was perfectly sweetened.

Okay, let's start with the obvious...the food! It was spectacular! If you like scratch homemade soul filled food...this place is for you! No frills here...right up my alley. Had the fried chicken, buffalo chicken wings, fried catfish, fried okra, pinto beans, and a funnel cake. (Shared between my wife and I) All of it was top notch food! You can't go wrong with any of it!! The owner was there and waited on us hand and foot. She provided great conversation and recommendations for places to eat near us. Such a wonderful woman! You gotta give this place a try if you like good food!!

The chicken is flavorful and juicy. The crust is well seasoned and crispy. They make your chicken when you order it. It's not sitting in a warmer waiting to be ordered. Great people. Love this place!

David behind the counter was very helpful suggesting what to order and how much. The portions are generous and everything is hand made with lots of loving. It takes a little extra time to make it that way but it didn't take long and I was eating some of the best tasting, perfectly seasoned and succulent juicy crispy fried chicken I ever had. Not your typical fast food. The fried okra was all hand rolled. The green beans were fresh and not overcooked. The potato salad was seasoned just right without the potatoes being over or under done. And the funnel cake was the perfect ending, generously powdered in sugar and curdled up just right. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it. The only thing I can say against it is that the atmosphere is lacking but it's not really a come in and sit down kind of place unless you don't care about atmosphere. You come to Busters for the over the top delicious fried chicken and super friendly, helpful service. Mmmm.

If you loved fried chicken this is the place for you. The batter used on the chicken originated in heaven . My granddaughter had the Chicken strips and they were delicious and a generous serving! I had the catfish fillets - 3 was perfect for me but I am not a big eater so you might consider going with the 6 count. Don't let the location fool you... it's is absolutely what is inside that counts. Awesome staff also.

OMG. This place has the best fried chicken. Pork chops and fries that I've had in a long time. Tried strawberry shortcake and snicker funnel cake. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven as it was beyond incredible. Was a bit hesitant about stopping as it looked like it was a drive up only. Happy that we went inside to see there was seating--about 6 tables. The person working the counter was very attentive and humorous. Also had a chance to chat with the owner who happened to stop by while we were there. He was great to talk to. If you are anywhere close, it's worth driving a few extra miles to savor this meal. Can't wait to make back.

You have to be looking to see this little GEM... it is exactly on the corner of spur 63 and McCann road. Right next door to Michael liquor store. You can access through the back driveway on McCann or off of the spur. That construction seems to be an issue at first. But if you look it is so easy to get in and out. So,... this place is fantastic and hidden. That said... everything is cooked to order. No warming trays or heat lamps. So the chicken is so fresh, crispy and so well seasoned. To me, the sides are even better! The potato salad is some of the best I've ever had and the pinto beans are incredible. All of this at a price that cant be beat. Do yourself a favor and try this place!!!

You'd think it would be easy to find great (or even good) friend chicken in a small town in East Texas. But we moved here in 2020, and didn't find Buster's until we went to the county fair I'm October 2022. today, we picked up take out from the restaurant, and the food was even better than we remembered. Hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and simply amazing. The portions were huge - we each got a two-piece meal (white for me, dark for my husband), but the portions were enough that we could easily have split them. Worth the drive across town, and the price was more than fair. The funnel cake was good, too.

It is a small little place with minimal seating but it packs a big punch!!! The crunch and flavor packed in every bite is so good. They will get you hooked on their kool aid and crunch. We had chicken on the bone, hot Cheetos chicken tenders, and a chicken sandwich. The food was crunchy, hot, and tasty. We followed up with a variety of tasty funnel cakes. The owners are absolutely precious and have wonderful customer service. We will be back for sure!!!!!
